![]() While a Steam listing has been up for some time, the game has not actually been purchasable, and is coming to Xbox One still. Ooblets is out now in game preview.Last week, the developers at the two-person studio Glumberland announced that they would be bringing their upcoming adventure game Ooblets to the Epic Games Store rather than Steam on PC for a period of temporary exclusivity. Ooblets seems to have a pretty laid-back premise, with the town apparently driven by dancing and seed collection: you'll farm and grow crops, collect ooblets and upgrade them before volunteering them into dance battles to earn seeds, customise your character and your house, make friends with the townspeople, and generally just lead your ooblets on a happy little dance around town. ![]() We couldn’t have done all this without you." ![]() We want to profoundly thank all the folks who made Ooblets possible, from those who have contributed their incredible work on the game to all the friends and fans who have supported us over the years. There’s still a long way to go to take it from early access to 1.0, so I hope you’ll all join us for the journey. Developing Ooblets has been our lives for the past 4 years, and it’s been a pretty wild ride full of major ups and downs. As per the game's official announcement, developers GlumberLand say "Ooblets is our lil studio’s first game release, and we’re really excited to have people finally play it. It's available on the Microsoft Store, currently at a 20% discount - at £16.79/$19.99 instead of £20.99/$24.99 - but it's still a work in progress, and the devs remind you not to expect a completely finished game.
